We really enjoyed our recent trip to Porchester Castle as part of our Knights and Castles topic. We had an exciting and stimulating day discovering about the people and practices in the castle in the morning with the help of some local history experts and then climbing the keep and handling the artefacts first hand in the afternoon. An excellent day leading into lots of fantastic work back at school.
