Otters enjoyed their trip to Intech science centre and planetarium. We saw a fantastic space show and enjoyed trying all of the exhibits'

Unluckily for the Otters our class trip to Bursledon Brickworks turned out to be the coldest day of the year so far! While we were all pretty chilly we still had a great time exploring how to make bricks, and even made some of our own! Mrs. Finch had an email from Liz the lady in charge which said,
Dear Mrs. Finch,
We thoroughly enjoyed meeting you, your pupils and colleagues and helpers yesterday at the Brickworks and hope that you all found it be a valuable experience. It's a shame about the near freezing conditions that we had to endure. I must say I was impressed by the high standard of questions and answers, knowledge and interpretive thinking - and very good behaviour - shown by your children.
Very kind regards
Liz

We enjoyed our visit from the Toy Professor. We made some time lines to show how old toys were and had fun exploring lots of old toys!

We enjoyed hearing traditional Inuit stories when a story teller came to visit for our Arctic Adventures topic! Ask us about the story of the 'Rainbow Princess'!

We had a fantastic day when Steve came to school for a circus workshop! We tried lots of new things such as diablo, juggling and tight-wire walking!
